Hi!
There's a lot of lintian noise that'd be nice to address:

W: mplayer source: build-depends-on-obsolete-package Build-Depends: libgl1-mesa-dev => libgl-dev
W: mplayer source: patch-file-present-but-not-mentioned-in-series [debian/patches/0001_version.patch]
W: mencoder: spelling-error-in-changelog in in (duplicate word) in [usr/share/doc/mencoder/changelog.Debian.gz]
W: mplayer: spelling-error-in-changelog in in (duplicate word) in [usr/share/doc/mplayer/changelog.Debian.gz]
W: mplayer-doc: spelling-error-in-changelog in in (duplicate word) in [usr/share/doc/mplayer-doc/changelog.Debian.gz]
W: mplayer-gui: spelling-error-in-changelog in in (duplicate word) in [usr/share/doc/mplayer-gui/changelog.Debian.gz]

As none of these is vital, I uploaded as-is to reduce the effort for
subsequent reviews, but please still fix them. A good practice is to put
such fixes into git so the next time you get around to mess with the package
there's no need to recall what was left to be done.

Thanks for your work on the package so far.

Meiw!
