Bug#975353: RFS: libopendbx/1.4.6-15 [QA] [RC] -- Lightweight database access abstraction layer

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: important

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "libopendbx":

 * Package name    : libopendbx
   Version         : 1.4.6-15
   Upstream Author : Norbert Sendetzky
 * URL             : http://www.linuxnetworks.de/doc/index.php/OpenDBX
 * License         : LGPL
 * Vcs             : https://salsa.debian.org/debian/libopendbx
   Section         : libs

It builds those binary packages:

  opendbx-doc - Opendbx documentation
  opendbx-utils - Utility applications using libopendbx
  libopendbx1-sybase - Sybase ctlib backend for OpenDBX
  libopendbx1-sqlite3 - SQLite3 backend for OpenDBX
  libopendbx1-pgsql - PostgreSQL backend for OpenDBX
  libopendbx1-odbc - ODBC backend for OpenDBX
  libopendbx1-mysql - MySQL backend for OpenDBX
  libopendbx1-mssql - MSSQL backend for OpenDBX
  libopendbx1-firebird - Firebird backend for OpenDBX
  libopendbx1-dev - Lightweight database access abstraction layer (dev)
  libopendbx1 - Lightweight database access abstraction layer

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/libopendbx/

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libo/libopendbx/libopendbx_1.4.6-15.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

 libopendbx (1.4.6-15) unstable; urgency=high
 .
   * QA upload.
   * Drop obsolete libopendbx1-sqlite binary package (Closes: #972126).
   * Add newly detected symbols to libopendbx1.symbols and tag as optional.
   * Bump Standards-Version to 4.5.1 without further changes.

Lintian reported the error
‘symbols-file-contains-current-version-with-debian-revision’, which went
away after I added the new symbols to the symbols file, tagged as
optional. I have no experience with C++ symbols, so please review
carefully.

Thank you!

David
