I've changed the default branch and elevated your permissions to "Maintainer" 
in case you need to make similar changes in the future.

I much prefer "master" as a default branch (I'm strongly against DEP-14).

License is not the same as copyright. Upstream did not include the full text 
of the license. If you read the full text [1], in the APPENDIX where it 
explains how to apply the license it says to add a copyright statement that 
upstream neglected to do. I recommend to follow-up with upstream regarding 
explicit copyright statement (which is currently missing).
