When anyone modifies the library, they'd want to update the documentation as
well, this requires any source form — even something like a Word document
would be enough.  Alas, PDF can't be reasonably edited.

Thus, it's sad to lose the documentation, but as this comes against an
immediate need (packaging software that uses this library), it's not an
urgent issue.
