Uploading a new version of a package

Hi,


I have an strange doubt. One of the package I maintain is a library (ompl) and
now I would like to push a new version with new ABI. I have done with others
libraries the procedure of ABI transition, with rebuild packages, etc. and it's
clear.

However, in this case there's no transition with other packages because there's
no package that depends on that library.

So, if I don't have any rebuild of packages, can I push a new version of the
with ABI changes directly to unstable?
