Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-input-method@lists.debian.org

Dear Mitsuya, debian-input-method team members and mentors,

As the follow-up for https://bugs.debian.org/900950 and  https://
lists.debian.org/debian-input-method/2018/06/msg00014.html, I have prepared a
team upload for package "libkkc-data" and I'm looking for a sponsor to
push it into
unstable. Besides, I am looking for a DD to help importing the packaging git
repository onto Salsa from my temporary repo and grant me (hosiet-guest) the
Master role so that previous packaging commits could pushed and maintained
there.

Transition is not needed since the new version is merely a bugfix release
(with no visible API/ABI breakage) and all its reverse dependencies will be
upgraded and uploaded very soon inside the Debian Input Method Team.

Levels of rebuild (and bugfix):

Level 1:
  * libmarisa0 (done)

Level 2:
  * libkkc2 (done), libkkc-data, librime1
                                          ^ we are here

Level 3:
  * fcitx-kkc, ibus-kkc, fcitx-rime, ibus-rime

 * Package name    : libkkc-data
   Version         : 0.2.7-2
   Upstream Author : Daiki Ueno <ueno@gnu.org>
 * URL             : https://github.com/ueno/libkkc
 * License         : GPL-3+
   Section         : utils

  It builds those binary packages:

    libkkc-data - language model data for libkkc

  To access further information about this package, please visit the
following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/libkkc-data

  Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

    dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libk/libkkc-data/libkkc-data_0.2.7-2.dsc

 Git packaging repository: (temporary, will be removed after upload)

    https://salsa.debian.org/hosiet-guest/libkkc-data

  Git packaging repository (proposed, not exist yet):

    https://salsa.debian.org/debian/libkkc-data

  Changes since the last upload:

 libkkc-data (0.2.7-2) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Team upload.
   * Set maintainer to debian-input-method@lists.d.o. Closes: #899580.
   * debian: Apply "wrap-and-sort -abst" for unified format.
   * debian/control:
     - Bump Standards-Version to 4.1.4.
     - Bump debhelper compat to v11.
     - Use "Optional" priority instead of "Extra" to comply with
       latest policy.
     - Use new upstream on GitHub for Homepage field.
     - Use packaging repo on Salsa for Vcs fields.
   * debian/copyright:
     - Add my contribution information.
     - Use the new GitHub upstream project for upstream url.
   * debian/docs: Removed, useless.
   * debian/rules:
     - Use "dh_missing --fail-missing".
   * debian/watch: Rewrite and watch GitHub project.
