sigh: missing changelog entries
1)  * new upstream release
      - closes foobar #bugNNN

^^ this is the correct syntax
2) bump compat level
3) std-version is now 4.1.0
4) autotoools-dev is now useless
5) switch to https
6) copyright changes: don't you think changing license from GPL-2 to GPL-3 is worth a changelog entry?
7) dropped debian/* copyright why?
8) patches dropped/foo
9) keys foo/added signatures
10) "--with autotools_dev" I would say useless in compat level 10, as well as the override_dh_auto_clean
11) update watch file location

and so on.

(the packaging looks mostly ok, the above points are missing in changelog
