Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "servicelog"

 Package name : servicelog
 Version : 1.1.14-1
Upstream Author : Vasant Hegde <hegdevasant@in.ibm.com>
 URL : http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-diag/files/servicelog/
 License : GPL-2
 Section : misc

It builds those binary packages:

servicelog - Platform Service/Error Message Database

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

https://mentors.debian.net/package/servicelog

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/servicelog/servicelog_1.1.14-1.dsc

More information about servicelog can be obtained from http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-diag/files/servicelog/

Note:
  This is for Power architectures.
I initially packaged this for Ubuntu Trusty. I pulled it from Ubuntu did a few
changes and here it is. It would need to be synced with Ubuntu.

Regards,
 Frederic Bonnard

Hi,

several enhancements, especially on d/copyright to list autoconf files and fix
the license.
Cleaned d/patches, d/rules.
Reduced lintians to :
P: servicelog source: debian-watch-may-check-gpg-signature
I: servicelog: spelling-error-in-binary usr/sbin/slog_common_event occured
occurred

check-all-the-things looks mostly ok
