the codes inside the libretro are modified to fith with libretro cores
needs i think!
most of siources are like, example mednafen modules are split and then
reimplemented separatelly, that includes build-in tremor and midmok of
mednafen

that its one reason of why dates are wrong
of course i suggested to made this kind of changes in a secoind fase,
like does with mednafen debian package, that includes many non-system
code like tremor and others
if this are the case most of the software could be packaged in debian
