Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist

Dear mentors, dear Debian ruby team,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "distkeys":

* Package name    : distkeys
  Version         : 1.0
  Upstream Author : teamix GmbH
* URL             : https://www.teamix.org/projects/distkeys
* License         : GPL-2+
  Section         : admin

It builds those binary packages:

  distkeys - distribute SSH keys

To access further information about this package, please visit the
following URL:

  https://www.teamix.org/projects/distkeys

  http://people.teamix.net/~ms/debian/new/

Alternatively use:

  git clone git://oss.teamix.org/distkeys.git

Alternatively, download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x http://people.teamix.net/~ms/debian/new/distkeys_1.0.dsc

This is initial packaging and my first packaging of a ruby script.

distkeys is a ruby script we use internally to distribute SSH keys to
servers. It can use port forwarding to reach servers behind a gateway. It
can execute commands or scripts, scp files and run interactive SSH sessions
one after another.

Currently it only works with Ruby 1.8 (which is mentioned in README).

I made this as a native package before I read a FAQ on mentors.debian.net
to rather use non-native package in case the software can be useful for
other distribution. If really needed I'd try to convert it to a non-native
one. But I'd prefer to keep debian directory with upstream sources if
possible, cause we are both upstream and packagers.

Thanks,
