I tried a uscan --debug --force-download and the current watch file in git just doesn't work
2) control: priority should be extra


3) (this is a showstopper)
-           python3-msgpack (>= 0.1.10), libssl1.0.2
+           python3-msgpack (>= 0.1.10)


please remove libssl1.0.2 from runtime dependencies.

it is automagically added by shlibs:Depends
(please double check the built deb file without that dependency inside DEBIAN/control)

Release 0.16-1 closes several bugs, which I have marked as pending on 
BTS. Unfortunately, it does not close the RC bug, as the upstream fix 
has not yet been released.
