as it happens Dave emailed me yesterday to say that he'd given
up on Paypal replying with clarification and gone ahead and
designed a custom graphic to replace it, available in the next
code push.
OpenCPN is GPL, but I suspect we can convince the author to
relicense as needed for whatever other deb packages need to use
the dfsg substitute..
