The package appears to be lintian clean.
The upload would fix these bugs: 604908 (ITP)
My motivation for maintaining this package is: I've been using this software
for many months and it has proved to be powerful and stable. Currently
there are no packages that provide a system-wide equalizer and I think it
may be useful to others (there is at least one discussion about it on
forums.debian.net).
