Oops and of course the should NOT be in that directory, but in the parent directory of /trimage-1.0.2 For instance my winff package looks like: ~/winff ~/winff/winff-1.2.0/ ~/winff/winff_1.2.0-2.debian.tar.gz ~/winff/winff_1.2.0.orig.tar.gz I didn't create the debian tar manually, but let the package builder create it (in my case pbuilder).
