It is planned to take that step, but I haven't got that far yet since
returning from overseas.

Additionally, I need to seek a long term co-maintainer for the packages
maintained by pkg-wpa-devel group anyway, as I believe them to be sufficiently
difficult to maintain and support.

There was a mistake fixed by this diff:

Thanks for spotting it. debian-mentors should now host a source package
at the same location/uri which fixes it.
