Furthermore, I am a enthusiastic Debian user and would like to give back to the community by maintaining and developing for Debian. This, I would like to start with my tool netsniff-ng. It is a high performance network sniffer which I developed at the German Max Planck Institue. This sniffer has way more performance than the libpcap-based ones, because network packets won't be copied from kernelspace to userspace (thus no syscall and no copy per packet).
