What about if I don't wanna see Apache installed on my system and I
want to run the webmail using another package providing httpd (e.g.
lighttpd)? ;)

Perhaps you want to depend on: 

  apache2 | httpd, php5 | libapache2-mod-php5, ...

or something like that. HTH.
