RFS: yorick (updated package; fixes FTBFS on powerpc and obsolescence)
Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for the new version 2.1.01cvs20060706-1
of the package "yorick", which I am adopting. The version currently in
the archive is obsolete and FTBFS with GCC 4.2 on powerpc (#367895).
Florian Ragwitz volunteered for sponsoring a few weeks ago, but seems
short on time at the moment. This upload is required before I can RFS
add-ons for Yorick, bringing a lot of nice features.
It builds these binary packages:
yorick - interpreted language and scientific graphics
yorick-data - interpreted library for the Yorick language
yorick-dev - development files for the Yorick interpreted language
The package is lintian, linda and piuparts clean.
The upload would fix these bugs: 250903, 306726, 333074, 346861, 357679, 367895, 372975
