Regarding copyrights there is a lot of information out there :/. See,
http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2003/12/msg00194.html
Copy that statement _verbatim_ into the copyright file.
revelation is not licensed with the 2 or later option, since the README
is the only place where the license is mentioned and it misses the 2 or
later part.
I included README to have an unchanged upstream file mentioning the licence.
I'll include your other suggestions and take a closer look at the
copyright file.
