  Well, I guess cdbs aim is not to remove the fully made by hand with
dh_* debian/rules but to simplify its writing for non-pathological
cases.  I use it since a few month, for kde apps, and web apps, and I
find that the resulting debian/rules are really really readable, and
don't have the lot of noise a non-cdbs rules has.

  btw nobody force you to use it ;p
