I have investigated the package a bit:

- lintian gives:
  W: qdu source: out-of-date-standards-version 3.6.0
  That should be easy to fix.

- Clean up your debian/rules. There are many commented out
  lines from dh_make some of them should be removed, others
  are actually needed (e.g. dh_installmenu)

- You don't close the ITP bug in your changelog entry.

- /usr/share/doc/qdu/README contains Xdu as name

- You set CFLAGS in debian/rules, actually all compilations
  are with g++ sou you probably want to use CXXFLAGS. But
  only substituting CFLAGS with CXXFLAGS doesn't suffice, you
  need to investigate the generated Makefile and find out what
  to do.
