Check for example the cdrtools package, which has separate targets in
debian/rules for each binary und uses -p$@

binary-arch: build install cdrecord mkisofs

and
cdrecord: install
        dh_installdirs -p$@
        dh_link -p$@
        [...]
        dh_builddeb -p$@
