RFS: gtklp-1.0pre3



[NB: I already posted this to d-m, but after a fresh reading of the d-m FAQ[1]
it was _very_ wrong for me to just post there. So, I'm sending this to you,
with some additions as per that FAQ (a little `spice' describing why this
package should be in Debian :). Kudos to you and Debian!]


Hi!

Here is yet another (late) release of gtklp for Debian, at version 1.0pre3. It
includes a number of fixes, in particular the missing entry in debian-menu,
missing *.mo's for LC_MESSAGES in gettext, and commenting out unnecessary
calls to debhelper in debian/rules. And yes, it's a new upstream release too
;)

GtkLP is licensed under the GNU GPL. It is similar to other CUPS frontends
like xpp, qtcups and cupsys-pt, but it uses GTK2, has translations in many
languages via gettext, and is also usable as a console app, making it a viable
drop-in replacement for lp(r) and friends.
