Just to follow up on this thread. libtool uses -rpath when building with a *non-standard* prefix, but with prefix=/usr no -rpath is used. That means /usr/lib is not added to the binary, so the normal lib search paths are used. Just like one would expect. -- Bill Moseley moseley@hank.org
