Mmm, can i ask you a ppp related question ?

I have packaged unicorn, a kernel driver for the Bewan ADSL PCI st
modem, and it needs pppoatm support in pppd. Currently, the ppp package
in debian doesn't support this, and there is no trace of any pppoatm
stuff in the ppp cvs tree (altough there is pppoe), so i (and other
users) have to resort to using the alienised pppoatm ienabled 2.4.0 pppd
found on the sourceforge pppoatm site, which is _not_ a nice solution.

If you have any idea of what is going on, i would be very happy to know
about it, or even if you have an idea or where is should look for
information on this or ask questions (i did not find any ppp-related
mailing list or other such stuff).

(Notice that there is an open bug about pppoatm support in the ppp
debian package, but i think it is mostly ignored).

Friendly,

Sven Luther
