Yesterday it did not work, today it works. Perhaps a mistake in writing...

I tried and I do not know why pdebuild did not work:
When I run pbuilder build ....dsc (as root) I get:
------------------------------------------------------------------
dh_gencontrol
dh_md5sums
dh_builddeb
dpkg-deb: building package `tivsmba' in `../tivsmba_4.2.2-9_i386.deb'.
 dpkg-genchanges -mnobody@nowhere
dpkg-genchanges: not including original source code in upload
dpkg-buildpackage: binary and diff upload (original source NOT included)
/usr/lib/pbuilder/pbuilder-buildpackage: line 1: kill: (19113) - No such
process
 -> Terminate timeout process
 -> unmounting /proc filesystem
 -> unmounting /dev/pts filesystem
Current time: Sat Sep 21 23:40:32 CEST 2002
pbuilder-time-stamp: 1032644432
 -> cleaning the build env
------------------------------------------------------------------
and a good file in /var/cache/pbuilder/result
When I run pdebuild (as user) in the source-tree I get identical lines and
no new package neither in /var/cache/pbuilder/result nor in the
parent-directory.

What is the problem?
