Funny, could not replicate the error now, guess I was
sloppy and did not clean up and rebuild the source
before attempting it again. Have another problem
though, when building libpango0 dpkg-gencontrol
complained thus:

dpkg-gencontrol: warning: unknown substitution
variable ${shlibs:Depends}

Attached are the debian/control and debian/rules
files.

If this is fixed I can finish packaing libatk0 and
then libgtk+1.3, currently a bit wary having a package
that does not depend on anything.
