No, I guess I was running with the mentality that there was this fabulous
tool for creating symbolic links according to the standard and thus I should
use it. :)
I think I will actually do what Josip Rodin suggested and do away with the
link altogether and patch the upstream sources, because that is also better
for other reasons.
