Therefore I'll now upload a new grafix source that builds
Package: grafix1
Replaces: grafix
Conflicts: grafix
Package: grafix-dev
Depends: grafix1 (= ${Source-Version}), libg++2.8.1.3-dev, xlibs-dev
Conflicts: grafix
apt-get won't catch it automatically but if you install grafix1 or grafix-dev
with apt-get install or dpkg everything works fine.
