I'd be more inclined to believe that the error was due to the "s" on the end
of "-ppgps". this is just a guess of course.

Robert: try "-ppgp -spgp", that should sign files correctly using pgp, from
my long term memory.

Be warned though, it will only be accepted by dinstall if you previously had
a pgp key in the keyring. as there are no changes to that keyring now except
for removals.

therefore, I'd suggest you get your gpg key generated asap! :)
