        Actually, it is really a problem with the underlying CVS
 system. You have to use a script that creates symlinks, and use the
 -e and -o options in the module definition of the modules file.

        Yes. See the man pages of cvs-upgrade and cvs-co-upgrade.

        For woody, I have a new package which rolls in cvs-inject,
 cvs-co-upgrade,  and  cvs-upgrade, so now the package shall contain
 only two scripts. (cvs-inject and cvs-bioldpackage). I'm also trying
 to put in rudimentary rpm support, in case one is building ones own
 package.
