The Debian Bug Tracking System. The best thing to do with existing
packages that you are adopting is to fix any open bugs and possibly update
it to the latest upstream version once you get a good feel for the
package's setup (this may even close some bugs depending on how out of
date the package is). Also check the packages policy version in the
control file and see if it is outdated, then update the package setup
where neccessary.
