question about the BTS

As I'm a recent addition to the maintainer's guild, some of my stuff (ie, pgp
key) is barely making it's way into production...

now, I've been working on the packages I'm maintaing for several months now. The
main package I'm doing is called IMP and I am also one of the developers of it
as well so I spend alot of time working within it's development.

Recently someone sent mail to the imp mailing list stating that he had reported
the bug to the Debian BTS system and I had not responded to it.

heh.. :)

I told him it would be kinda hard for me to do so since the package isn't even
a part of the distribution yet and at the time the debian internal systems most
likely didn't know who the hell I was.

my question is this...what happens to these bug reports??? If they are
/dev/null'd then nevermind...but if they are sitting around somewhere I'd like
to track that specific one down and take care of it...(as it's been since been
fixed).

Ivan
