Closing/Removing a bug

There's a bug against the package I just uploaded -- xabacus. It talks about
xabacus coming up in a demo mode and then exiting leaving the user with no way
of using xabacus (easily) in interactive mode. The latest version has NO demo
mode (it'll be back in "a later version") so the bug is.. moot. What's the
propper way to take care of it? Or... is there documentation to
bugs.debian.org? I've been relying (mostly) on what I find on the web for
documentation.
