Did I get this right? (1st attempt at a package)
Howdy, if I can get this right, I'll probably want to pick up some of
the orphaned packages, but I thought I'd start off with something easy
first.
I've packaged the Internet JunkBuster (an anonymizing web proxy with
filtering <URL:http://www.junkbuster.com/>) and would appreciate it if
someone took a look at my packaging job. All the related files are at
<URL:http://people.lanl.gov/neale/debian/>. For the wary, here's the
output of "dpkg -L ijb":
/.
/etc
/etc/ijb
/etc/ijb/saclfile.txt
/etc/ijb/sblock.txt
/etc/ijb/sconfig.txt
/etc/ijb/scookie.txt
/etc/ijb/sforward.txt
/etc/ijb/strust.txt
/etc/init.d
/etc/init.d/ijb
/usr
/usr/sbin
/usr/sbin/junkbuster
/usr/man
/usr/man/man1
/usr/man/man1/junkbuster.1.gz
/usr/doc
/usr/doc/ijb
/usr/doc/ijb/copyright
/usr/doc/ijb/README.debian
/usr/doc/ijb/buildinfo.Debian
/usr/doc/ijb/changelog.Debian.gz
While I'm posting, I can't figure out how to get the "build" program to
make me a diff file--I've modified the source and (I can only assume) I
need to have the diff file reflect my changes to the original code.
Also, since NAS uses port 8000, I specified in the config file to use
port 8080. Should I instead patch the source code to make 8080 the
default?
Thanks!
