I apologise if I ended up offending you. That wasn't my intention. Neither was my intention to start a "ping"-chain until the right person is found.

I simply applied your patch because the reasoning looked right to me, I did not blindly apply/trust it. It worked OK, at that point as stated by you. The only intention was to help you with cross builds (which I'm myself sometimes involved with, which I'm sure you're aware of) and not be a source of nuisance for you for future. And if you feel otherwise, feel free to let me know.
