Greetings, I tried to address #973058 in kineticstools. At the same time I caught an upstream update while running a pass or routine-update and the end result is available on Salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/kineticstools/ I'm not sure how to interpret the failing piuparts result; it says: python3-kineticstools : Depends: python3 (< 3.9) but 3.9.0-3 is to be installe but the control file I get from the corresponding package has the following python3 dependency: python3 (<< 3.10), python3 (>= 3.8~), ... Maybe the test chokes on the previous package version currently available but uninstallable in python3.9 context? I'm conscious of three lintian warnings (the link may be worth an override, but I'm not sure how to sort the two shared library issue yet). The open bug will trigger package removal from testing rather soon, so I have not further delayed. If you think the package is in appropriate shape, please either consider uploading or granting me upload permissions.
