I like this idea and I hope my involvement in the issue in my day job
will not block me to much to contribute here.
Great, thanks!

Pretty good idea. However, we need to trust the readers of this list
(may be the readers of debian-devel-announce or some social media) to
complete that tagging and the list of stuff that needs packaging. I
can only do technical work.
If we want the participation of the wider Debian community, then I think we need a fair amount of packages tagged prior to April 5th
Where is the best place to do the tagging, on our tasks page?
Can we have a COVID Debian-Med task page?

I'd vote for same tag.
Sure.

+1
Great, how to do this? Do we spam BTS with user tags, or is there a way to get all bugs for a list of packages?

Good! Should we add a list of software to package and once it is done
point ftpmaster to that list to rank it with higher preference?
Is something in the new queue a potential candidate for fast-processing?
Good question, I haven't had time to check yet; I've got a virtual conference today and tomorrow (USA time), so I have to focus on that now.

I hope to be able to do this in the next couple of hours.
Thanks!

I'm perfectly fine - hope the same for you.
Same here, got back to Berlin on Friday. Not leaving for the foreseeable future :-D
Thanks a lot for this effort
Thank you (all) for the DebianMed community!
