I've uploaded it after some minor change (`cme fix dpkg-control` has fixed
the Vcs fields.

I did not noticed any problem that affects the build.

Lets assume it works. I personally to the tests in the following way:
dpkg -i *.deb
sh debian/tests/run-unit-test
If this works chances are pretty good that everything is OK.
