Uploaded to unstable. Thanks for your preparation.

I noticed that only amd64 seems to be available. I can't figure out
what
is blocking the other architectures, I built i386 locally and didn't
have an issue. Does anyone have any ideas as to what needs to be
fixed?

Where have you seen this?

    https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=yaml-cpp

looks quite good - at least for release architectures.

I noticed it here:

   https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=yaml-cpp0.5

and here:

   https://packages.debian.org/sid/libyaml-cpp0.5

So is there a difference between what is shown on these web pages, and
the build status you showed?

I read this on a buildd faq somewhere, but can't seem to find it now. If I remember correctly, the amd64 package is the one that you probably submitted with your source package. The other architecture versions had to be built and must have the build logs checked by an admin before they appear on the archive.
