I'll CC everybody whom I'mnot familiar with from these two lists.

BTW, there is another nasty target which is probably not as simple but
has IMHO way more relevance: libjai-core-java (and other JAI libs).  We
have some very interesting targets and previous discussion raised some
suspicions that there are free replacements - but no real solutions were
found.  If we could throw this problem on your colleague this would be a
really worthy target IMHO.
