Hi Andreas and Steffen,

I would like to keep one task to pull all command-line programs that do not
have extensive dependance on large components such as desktop environments.

It could be bio-cloud or bio-ngs, since my main interest here is
“next-generation” sequencing, or any better name that one would suggest.

I will make sure that such a task is in a good shape for Jessie. I have put
reminders in my agenda (cough… Google… non-free), on September 5 and October 5,
two and one months before the Freeze respectively.

Input from others, of course, is welcome. Or even doing it instead of me :)
Maintaining this task can be a good opportunity for newcomers to become
familiar with what Debian offers, etc.

Have a nice day,
