Thanks for the hint! It turns out that -B is for a binary-only build of
the architecture-dependant packages. This indeed allows me to reproduce
the error mentioned in the bug report. Great :-)!

I'll look into these options, but for this specific problems Steffen's
solution seems simper and easier.
