Hi Andreas,
I just had a quick look on -devel; about R packages going through t-p-u, you
can also circumvent that by replacing ${R:Depends} by an ad-hoc value like "R
>= 3.1". This is dirty and needs to be reverted later, but will save you from
testing chroots etc.
