Hello Andreas,
I've created a new upstream version of the package that fixes two of the
three bugs that came up in the multi-arch compiling and works around the
third:
Bug#705383: mia: FTBFS on i386: 3 tests failed out of 228
* I commented on that before
Bug#705384: mia:FTBFS on architectures such as ia64 lacking SSE
or Altivec support
* Fixed the build system to check whether SSE or Altivec is supported
by
the build flags, and disable the according module if not.
Bug#705385: mia: FTBFS on powerpc: test suite hangs
* Worked around it by setting the number of threads to 1 on powerpc and
with
intel threading building blocks (TBB) < 4.1u2.
This must be fixed in TBB (Bug#705495).
The changes are already in git, the source package still is just
uploaded to sourceforge, which means the watchfile may not yet find the
version.
Best wishes
Gert
