Hi Andreas,

I did not have time to read the rest, but I just checked the Git repository and
I do not see your changes.  It seems that your Git malediction continues.
Maybe I did not set the permission well at the time I created it ?  To be sure
it works, I have switched to the same setup as for the libsnappy-java
repository: shared with the Debian group, instead of world-writable.  That
should work.

The commit hook sends me notifications, but if you would like I can either
add you or send the notifications to our commit list.  Or I can simply
move the whole Git repository in our team's area.
