This can be a very good plan, even if we have to make an update (a debug version) of the package: 0.4.2 and 0.5.4. We finally just need to include the licence/copyright to the debian files.

For the previous release of FreeDiams, this can be a good option, because the application can be used without the database.

I can add this unofficial translation. Should I replace the french licence terms or should I leave them and add the english translation ?

For the future release of the FreeMedForms project apps, the non-free (according to the DSC) data will be downloadable directly from the application. Applications will be packaged with a sample of free data (so that user can test functionnalities).

For the current and the previous versions, we can not provide a free package and a non-free.
