Thanks for inspecting the package.  While this is not the best possible
option it is at least helpful.

If you say "remove from main" does this mean that you will move it to
non-free automatically.  I guess not because it would probably need a
change in debian/control, but just to make sure.  I would plan to split
the original upstream source into the database part for non-free and
the code for contrib - but needs to negotiate this with upstream.

In my mail I just quoted the current debian/copyright in SVN - so this
is basically done (except for the translation).

Well, if we have one single part non-dirstributable for main the whole
database can not be distributed in main.  Upstream assembled them all
in one single file and claimed there is no chance to split it up into
a free and a non-free part.
