we are simply assuming there are a lot of newcomers who are lurking at
this list and wondering how to help. I'm not really sure whether this
assumption is true because I found some cases at
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?maint=debian-med-packaging%40lists.alioth.debian.org
which are *really* easy to do and which would help taking some workload
from the back of people who might address some harder to fix things.
For instance I just squashed #640103 by simply writing a mail to
640103-done@bugs.debian.org
that the new version is just available (Uploader might have forgotten to
close the bug. I found some similarly easy bugs to fix. For those who
would like to help: You are simply wasting some karisma points when
missing those very easy chances to squash a bug.
Kind regards
Andreas.
