Yes.  Installing identical copies of a dynamic library instead of using
symlinks is a bug.

Thanks for the clarification.  But I understood your first mail this way
that you was talking about an upstream problem you can not really fix
and so I was assuming it is other projects code.  Whatever the source of
the "copies instead of symlinks" problem is - it should be fixed where
it was caused.
